Universal Wires LLC is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for hot dip galvanized steel wires (Low & High Carbon) and Aluminum Clad Steel (ACS) Wires & Strands located in Sohar, Sultanate of Oman. Spread over 51,000 sq. meters, the plant is equipped with fully automated European machinery and has an annual production capacity of 70,000 metric tons of Hot Dip Galvanized Steel Wires and 10,000 metric tons of Aluminum Clad Steel Wires & Strands.
The facility specializes in producing galvanized wires ranging from 0.8 mm to 6.0 mm in diameter, with a strong focus on heavy zinc coating applications. A key highlight of the plant is its advanced capability to deliver zinc coating levels ranging from 40 GSM up to 600 GSM (Class 6 coating), ensuring superior corrosion resistance and long service life for demanding applications.
The manufacturing process incorporates advanced Pad Wiping and Automatic Nitrogen Wiping technologies, enabling precise control over coating quality across the full product range. The plant exclusively uses Special High Grade Zinc (99.995% pure), ensuring consistent coating performance and premium quality output.
